Northcote Intermediate School, Ministry of Education

Nick Geens, whilst working with RDT Pacific, was engaged by the Ministry of Education to provide Lead Project Management and Engineer-to-Contract services for the planning and execution of the Northcote Intermediate School project.

The successful outcome was the delivery of a purpose-built, student-centric learning environment, in a timely manner that allowed the expected role growth of the community to be accommodated.

Maintaining the School’s business-as-usual while the construction works progressed and providing safe access to the school for staff and students was imperative. Meticulous planning and phased construction were necessary to minimize disruptions. Furthermore, early enabling works encompassed the construction of car parking facilities and landscaping as integral components of the project.
