We work alongside Tangata Whenua, to build long-term partnerships, ensure participation, acknowledgement of tikanga and the protection of taonga. We engage with Iwi on all aspects of the integration of the land and the buildings with respect for the most significant tipuna our earth mother ‘Papatuanuku’. The birthplace of all things. We understand, when we are working with the land, that there is always a spiritual connection between Papatuanuku and Mana whenua, and all people of Aotearoa.

Inspira undertake principles of Tiaki – we strive to work together with local mana whenua to preserve, foster and protect the taonga - land, soil and water for future generations.

As we strengthen and build on our knowledge and understanding of te ao Māori, our passion and respect flows through into the projects we are part of.
