Franks Eatery

Franks Eatery, Franks Pantry and Franks to Go - a chain of restaurants undertaken by Janine and Hamish to be delivered in fast-track programme management for a local Queenstown restaurateurs Aaron and Victoria. Under delivery was not an option as the restaurants had to open prior to Xmas for peak trading. Hamish and Janine’s Design Management and Project Management skills were utilised and engaged by Franks to deliver three comprehensive restaurants in integration with the shell buildings at all locations.

Key challenges were undertaking project management of the contractor Naylor Love and undertaking design management and full project delivery for the branding, architectural design, interior fitout, exterior landscaping, signage all consenting requirements and commercial kitchen fitouts. The interior was also supplied by JVL Studio in entirety, including lighting design and furniture selection and procurement – all the above scope was delivered within 5 months.

Additional services delivered related to cost control, contract administration, tender procurement preparation, tender evaluation and analysis and on the go value engineering to meet budgets.
